Rebuilding Together

Geraldine Johnson, Operations Coordinator, and her family were impacted by Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. They lost everything.



After the hurricane hit, she reached out to FEMA and Red Cross but was unable to receive assistance from either organization. She then reached out to the Global Medical Response Employee Foundation and they responded immediately, providing Geraldine and her family with what they needed to get back on their feet. The Employee Foundation helped rebuild her home. Her coworkers and GMR family went above and beyond to help Geraldine’s family return home.
